English Division

Dear Students,

Your USERNAME to all WUM systems is your index number, preceded by the letter s, for example: s012345 (you have it printed on the front of your Student ID Card).

Your START PASSWORD is a number printed on the back of your Student ID Card, without spaces.

For security reasons you should set your own password:

  1. Log in to SSL-VPN Portal: https://ssl.wum.edu.pl (first field: USERNAME, the field below: START PASSWORD and click the button Wchodzę). When the pop-up window of Juniper Networks appears, allow its installation: mark Zapamiętaj tę decyzję and click button Zezwól
  2. Click tab Zmiana hasła w Centralnym Systemie Autoryzacji
  3. Click redirecting link https://ssl.wum.edu.pl/dana/pref/pref.cgi
  4. Set YOUR OWN PASSWORD.
    NOTE    : please allow some time before you log in with you new password

Now click the icon Home in the upper right corner. Here you have the list of systems and application available for students.

WEBMAIL

Click tab Webmail.student.wum.edu.pl in SSL-VPN Portal

visit: https://webmail.student.wum.edu.pl
OR
visit home page of the university: http://www.wum.edu.pl and click link Webmail student.wum.edu.pl

  1. Log in to Webmail (first field: USERNAME, the field below: START PASSWORD OR YOUR OWN PASSWORD (if you have set it) and click the button Logowanie).
  2. Click the link Opcje (top of the page), then click the link Ustawienia wyświetlania (in the right column). Change interface language from Polish to English. Click button Wyślij at the bottom of the page. Now refresh the page (you can do this with keyboard shortcut or you can use link Odśwież stronę)
  3. Enter your full name and e-mail address (students’ addresses look like: s012345@webmail.student.wum.edu.pl). Now you can start using your student e-mail account.

WiFi

WiFi locations:

  • Rektorat (the whole building),
  • Centrum Dydaktyczne (the whole building), 
  • Farmacja (hall, bistro, computer lab) 
  1. Turn on wireless network card and find available networks. Double click the network internet
  2. Enter the key: 1234567890. Repeat the key in the field below. Click Connect 
  3. Open your favorite web browser. You will be redirected to WUM WiFi login site. 
  4. Log in with your USERNAME and PASSWORD
    NOTE if you use e-mail client (like Thunderbird or Outlook), you should first log in to WiFi and after that open your e-mail client
